Black Canyon campground is only about 40 minutes from home. During the week
its not crowded so its a great spot for casting practice. The river is nice and wide
and there's a variety of water to practice in.

This stretch of the middle fork of the Willamette has a number of fishing spots right
next to the highway. The area is part of the Willamette National Forest.
